About the Foundation

The Fundashon Abram Edgardo Salas is a grant-making organization based in Curaçao. We direct financial support to small non-profits and foundations that larger institutional donors often overlook.

History

FAES was formed in 2010 by Pito Salas in honor of his father Abram Edgardo Salas. The initial board members included Pito Salas, Margarita Salas, Virginia, and Janice. Our advisory board included Patricia Salas, Larry Salas, Harlan Cohen, and Chris Salas. Since formation we have given out an average of XCG 100,000 every year. Meet the current board.

How We Operate

The foundation is managed by a small board of trustees who review grant applications annually. Our criteria and values are described on our mission page.
