About the Foundation

Fundashon Abram Edgardo Salas is a grant-making organization based in Curaçao. We were founded in 2008 and since then we have given almost XCG 500.000 to small non-profits and foundations that larger donors often miss.

History

FAES was formed in 2010 by Pito Salas in honor of his father Abram Edgardo Salas. The first board members included Pito Salas, Margarita Salas, Virginia Evers-Kleinmoedig, and Janice Godschalk. Our advisory board included Patricia Salas, Larry Salas, and Harlan Cohen. Meet the current board.

How We Operate

The foundation is managed by a small board of directors who review grant applications every year. Our criteria and values are described on our mission page.
